Observer Self

There is a part of each individual called the "observer self", that allows you to simply observe your behavior and interactions with others AND without judgment relate your observations.  Without ego, this self can give an accurate report of the day's events.
At the end of each day, take time to record the most significant events, the ones that impacted you emotionally.  Many events will have occurred during the day, but it is only those that your were emotionally charged about that will seem important.
To begin with, choose the one carrying the most energy.  As you record the situation, don't edit - simply allow the full expression.  After you have reported the "facts", allow yourself to shift to your "observer self".  Now once again, replay the day's events, but this time it is as if you are in the locker room watching a replay - you are separate from the "you" on the screen.  Note your observations about the event and "your reactions".  From this vantage point you may become aware of information that may be helpful.  For truly, there is no information more vital than that about yourself!

Time Out

You are a nation bedazzled by sports.  On any given day scores of games are reported on local networks.  How is it that a team makes it to the Super Bowl or Olympics?  Through many hours of practice and actual game time.  But the secret of success lies in the EVALUATION of the game performance.  For it is in the locker room that a game is won or lost - in the huddle, during the time out.  If you are going to prosper from your experience you must stop every so often and evaluate. If you are not getting what you want - you are no closer to the goal, then you must make some adjustments.  So the human journey is not just about EXPERIENCING the moment but about EVALUATING your experiences.

Ground Hog Day

Every person and event in your current reality is there for a reason.  Embrace the opportunity for growth that each offers.  Any unresolved issues from the past will show up in the present to be healed.  Does your boss remind you of your father?  your colleague, a sibling?
Each individual has had experiences that have left them with unmet, unfilled needs.  Subconsciously, the individual will recreate similar situations trying to find a remedy.  So instead of fully living in the present, the individual is caught in a sort of "Ground Hog Day", reliving the past over and over.  It is only by examining current conditions that the unmet need will be realized.  Then it can be fulfilled!!!
Current relationships, jobs, living environments all reflect your inner dimension.  A complete and thorough examination will reveal the motivation behind individual choices.  Know that each choice offers an opportunity for healing.

Living In The Present

To experience life fully, you must keep your awareness focused in the present moment.  When your attention returns to the past or projects into the future you have dissipated your energy.  To be fully present one must be 100 percent in the now.  If your thoughts drift to a past event or a perceived future encounter you have lost the moment.  Life is a series of precious moments strung together like pearls.  Each moment is invaluable, experience it to the fullest.  BE conscious.  BE fully present.  BE!
Remember you are human BEINGS.

Live AS IF

Begin "walking the talk".  Live "as if".  If it is peace that you desire, be peaceful.  If it is love you request, be loving.  If it is joy, be joyful.  By living in gratitude with appreciation for all the "miracles" you witness everyday, more will appear.  Again, miracles abound but you have not acknowledged them.  That on which you focus your thought and emotions will multiply.  Many of you get caught in worry, focusing energy on what you fear.  That will only create that which you do not want.  Monitor your thoughts for where the mind goes your body will follow!

Divine Intelligence

Examine the outcroppings of your inner thoughts by noting your environment and the people in it.  Recognize that they are projections of your inner thoughts and emotions.  Are the people and places "life enhancing"?  Are you filled with joy and contentment, peace and love?  If not, your inner landscaping needs pruning.  Accessing the subconscious where many of the limiting beliefs are stored is necessary.  There are many tools that will allow entry into the subconscious realm:  meditation, hypnosis, dreams to name a few.  Addressing the wise, knowing, intuitive part of you may give you insight.  Ask for Divine guidance and then listen for a response.  Divine Intelligence is in constant communication but the majority of time you are not listening.  Answers may appear on a billboard, a license plate, in a book, or in a conversation with a friend.  Synchronicities are often God's exclamation points to make sure you have received and recognized the message.

Action Speaks Louder than Words

You can only see what you believe, nothing else is possible.
-Byron  Katie

The first course of action is to set your intention, for energy follows thought.  Because you are beings designed with free will we cannot intervene unless asked.  "ASK and you shall receive."  Set your intention for the highest and best good of all concerned and ask to be guided.  Do not have expectations about how your requests will be fulfilled.  Trust in Divine Providence.  Recall the words "In My Name, all things are possible."  The only hindrances are your own limited beliefs.  To experience something, you must first believe it is possible.  Challenge the thoughts that prevent you from experiencing what you desire.
